A bit about this blog.
I’m a forty year old married father of two boys. I was brought up a Catholic and even thought about the idea of being a priest. I don’t go to church anymore, but think that I probably should. I don’t identify with many things that are Catholic, but still think of myself as one.
I don’t write much on this blog. At the moment it’s only something once every few months. Really it’s a place to vent about those things that occasionally inspire me to write.

I am writing an article for “TheSchnooze,” a
Jewish website, about r__ed. The Yiddish word meaning
“to r__e” is “fargvaldikn.” I am including in
this piece a letter written to The Bintel Brief, a
column in the Forward for 60 years, which deals with
the problem of r__e.
May I please have your permission to include your
piece about the breakfast radio program that got
nto trouble because they revealed that a 14-year-old
girl had been r___d at age 12?
